The C2 is a tiny bit slimmer and shorter than the Hario Mini Mill. The upper part of the hopper has a conical design. The bottom of it is more like a rectangular box. The grinder’s body and handle are made of aluminum with black anodizing. There is also a plastic knob on top that you can use to tighten or loosen the grind settings wheel.
The overall build quality feels good. All the parts fit together snugly with no gaps or unevenness. The grinding wheel turns smoothly and doesn’t wobble at all.

Coffee Beans Grinding Performance
The C2 produces consistent, even grinds at all settings. We tested it with a variety of beans and brewing methods, and it performed well across the board. The grinds were especially uniform at the medium to coarse settings, making the C2 a great choice for French press and pour-over coffee. This hand grinder is well-suited to manual brewing methods like Pour Over, Aeropress, French Press, or Moka Pot. While the Timemore Chestnut C2 can technically grind fine enough for espresso, it isn’t designed for this. There are not enough grind settings to dial the coffee beans in precisely, and it takes a very long time to grind a single dose that fine. Greater Capacity, Consistent Results
Bean Capacity The Timemore C2 can hold about 30 grams of coffee beans. This is enough for 1-2 cups of coffee, depending on how you like your brew. If you’re making coffee for more than one person, you’ll need to refill the hopper between grinding sessions.
The increased capacity between 25 and 30 grams of fuel was among the most welcome of all the changes in the C2 Max. And although Timemore has no exclusive dial for its C2 Max, the dial is still an admired approachability system, which ensures that you get the same premium results at the same price. It’s Fast and Furious
Speed The C2 has a top grinding speed of about 2 minutes per cup. This is on the slower side for a hand grinder, but it’s still fast enough for most brewing methods.
I first noticed the speed at which I use the grinding machine. This was quite noticeable and a surprise to me. The burrs in Timemore C2 have a common 38mm diameter burr, and most other grinding machines also have similar burrs. The grinder has an unusual geometry that accounts for its aggressiveness. They are very tasty. Moreover, the interior design helps the bean to be fed faster. While the grinder is fast and aggressive, the smooth bearing and small diameter make it very easy to use and quick.

Consistent Enough
The biggest problem with manual grinding equipment appears in how it performs with regards to particle distribution. It is also fairly good at a good price too. There are not really any echelons in that department since the fines remain substantial. However, you can still have tasty coffee. The flavour was less clear and distinct from the Zpresso Jx. Those were things I noticed as I compared them side by side. This exam involves two Gabi Master A’s that do not allow personalization techniques.

It is not a secret that the finest coffee starts with a good grinding unit. In addition to the price, it is sometimes cheaper for grinding premium grinding. Timemore will do something different about it. The C2 Max comes with the same 38mm stainless steel conical burs and the same dual-barrel stabilization. The C2 Max’s unique features include PCG plastic in the grinder, where steel or wood are common. The use of plastic external stabilisers and plastic pommels does no harm.
Budget, but quality
Timemore is now introducing a new version of its Chestnut C2 to its product range with this new version – the C2max is definitely no exception. The C2 Max retains the same reliable 38mm conical steel burrs as the older brother but boasts some thoughtful improvements; these grinders can be used to create consistent and tasty pour-off beverages. The drawbacks
The only con I could find was that the grinds can get stuck in the burrs if you don’t clean it regularly. Other than that, the Timemore C2 is a great grinder!
